Future Elements is proud to be working on new studio recordings with Hando Jin and Roxy aka The Function. Performing live shows around the Vancouver area with percussionist and M.O. founder, Myles Bigalow, The Function have been turning heads with their future focused funk consisting of vintage synths, on the fly programming, heavy live percussion and sweet sultry vocals. Hando Jin has been working closely with Aklimatize in the Future Elements studio, writing new material and building new and exciting beats and sounds. For more information about The Function, check them out at

This week, Conception Radio Show features Morganic of Future Elements with his original guest selections! Morganic has been busy getting things moving for the Aklimatize EP, due out soon on Future Elements... His guest mix starts off with some classic tunes, very telling of the times when they were written, then moves into some Brazilian beats, some midtempo broken tracks including new Aklimatize & The Function ft. Joni Love, ending off with some great hiphop from a great era. Check out Morganic at

The 2006 Vancouver International Jazz Festival has come to a close and in our opinion, it was the best Jazz Festival yet! With performances by local artists Sekoya, 1Luv and a heavy dose of Conception Radio Show, including the successful Co-op Radio fundraiser at the Lamplighter. The highlight of this years Vancouver International Jazz Festival was by far the huge Canada Day performance at David Lam Park. At 6:30 pm, Mark de Clive Lowe began programming his MPC and the crowd never stopped moving! Accompanied by the most beautiful and talented high priestess of modern music, Bembe Segue on vocals and the legendary Sammy Figueroa on percussion, Mark slammed the hardest beats and sharpest synth sounds to a very appreciative crowd until the sun went down. We won't forget the show anytime soon, a beautiful day, groovin' in the sunshine! - check out http://www.myspace.com/markdeclivelowe for his blogs with some great photos and commentary! Conception Radio has been focusing on Mark and Bembe the last couple of weeks, with the help of Aklimatize, Hiro and Morganic. Be sure to look out for the POLITIK album, due out in 2007 on Village Again records.
