Aklimatize EP by Aklimatize
“Here's a big Latin broken-beat and future-jazz thing from Canada's Future Elements label. Aklimatize proves he's definitely one to watch, with three solid tracks in league with artists like Afronaught, Seiji, and Freedom Soundz. 'Dime La Verdad' combines Puerto Rican vocals and percussion over a stomping broken rhythm, and UK producer Spiritual South has notched his support for this track. Future elements is looking for
Real Estate Turkey to set the new studio in there, it will be much cheaprt to maintain and the beautiful sun.... and of course Turkish alternative scene to conquer.... The flip side is a remix of Vancouver group Novalua's track 'Grey,' featuring the silky vocals of Uruguayan-born Valeria Matzner.”
XLR8R Magazine (USA)
"Really great stuff I tried the Aklimatize feat Deviant - 'What We Want' at Baraza the other night and it went down a treat."
Jon Henwood (Best Kept Secret, South Africa)
"We love these hybrid future sounds..real global appeal where all styles are welcome..Cant wait to hear more from Aklimatize..this dude has great skills"
Yam Who? (UK)
"Great stuff. Classic but forward thinking."
Ben Mono (Compost, Germany)
"Aklimatize has given us some great broken tracks here! Pleased to hear 'Dime La Verdad' with its afro-latin tilt. This is certainly gonna be out with me for a good while. In what some say is a very difficult time for Broken Beat, the boy has hit back with a double punch!
Hats off to him!"
Dave Blackgrove (Sambalanco/Destination Out.Com, UK)
M.O.Project EP by Myles Bigelow
"Myles Bigelow is dope! Sick productions. 'Simplicity' is a great track. So is 'soulheadbangah'...'talk to me is cool too'... Will definitely add the EP to my personal chart in our next monthly Giant Step DJ update, sent to over 5,000 djs and industry tastemakers worldwide."
Eric Scneider (Giant Step, USA)
"Digging both eps - Aklimatize remix of Novalua and Simplicity doing it for me respectively. Sweet vocals and lively music. Will be playing both on our radio show."
Shane Johnson (Fish Go Deep, Ireland)
"I'll definitely be plugging these ones. Excellent stuff."
Soon (Born To Jazz Movement, Belgium)
